Welch Village is the only licensed PMTS Direct Parallel® ski school in the country. PMTS Direct Parallel® is unique - it's a complete teaching system that does not use the wedge or "snow plow." All movements taught in our system utilize modern ski design and create and maintain balance. The system teaches expert skiing movements to all ability levels using Student Centered Ski Instruction™ which uses a student's needs and motivations to design a learning environment. Snow Explorers (ages 4-5)

Explorers learn the basics of stopping, controlling speed, and simple turns during a one-hour lesson on our magic carpet area.  Snow Explorers is offered at 10am and 1pm on Saturdays, Sundays, & Holidays.  Registration for walk-ins closes 30 minutes prior to the lesson time. Please arrive one-hour ahead of time and come straight to the Skilink Learning Center.  Please call the Learning Center at 651-258-4567 ext. 133 if you have questions.

Kid's Club (ages 6-10)

Kid's age 6-10 learn to ski or snowboard in a fun and exciting environment with instructors who love working with kids.  Kid's Club is offered on Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays at 10am and 1pm.  Kid's Club features a 2-hour lesson and includes a snack.  Registration for walk-ins closes 30 minutes prior to the lesson time.  Please arrive one hour early and come directly to the SkiLink Learning Center.

Kid's 3-day Sessions

A progressive learning program for kids aged 6-10 offered on three consecutive weeks.  Students will be grouped and coached according to ability level by the same instructor for three consecutive weeks.  Parents will receive feedback about student's progress following each session. 

Sessions run from 9:30 - 11:30am, or 12:30 - 2:30. Registration and pre-payment for the Kid's 3-week Sessions is Available now in our OnLine Store.

Holiday Kid's Camp

This is a two-day lesson program during the week of Christmas.  There are two camps offered and space is limited in each.  Holiday Camps are offered to kids age 6-10 and both skiing and snowboarders are welcome!  All Holiday Camps require pre-payment and registration in our Online Store - Registration closes on Dec 25th.

Private Kids Lessons

Private lessons are available at noon on weekends and according to the daily lesson time schedule Monday through Friday.  All private lessons require an advanced reservation and deposit.   Please call the learning desk at 651-258-4567 ext. 133 to make your reservation.
