Welch Village terrain park plan
Welch Village recognizes that terrain parks are an important part of our business and play an important role is the future of the sport. We offer a progressive terrain park intended for beginners and intermediate level skiers and riders. Our terrain park features will include rails, boxes, and roller features. Welch Village will not include jumps in terrain parks as defined by the Freestyle Terrain Notebook from the National Ski Areas Association. The terrain park layout is a result of discussions with various ski area departments including: park crew, ski patrol, snowmaking, grooming, ski school and management. Safety is always the top priority when creating, maintaining, and managing terrain park features. We ask for all of our guests to visit the NSAA Smart Style website
to read safety information and watch the safety video.

Know WATS UP! and Remember to Show Your Smart Style
1. Look Before You Leap.
Scope around the jumps first, not over them. Know your landings are clear, and clear yourself out of the landing area.
2. Easy Style It.
Start small and work your way up. (Inverted aerials not recommended.)
3. Respect gets respect.
