Welch Village will be hosting the Rockstar Rail Jam on Saturday, February 24th in the Terrain Park!

COMPETITION FORMAT:

Rail jam format with a specified time limit for each division. Competitors will use their division's time limit to show judges their best tricks. Competitors will be judged on overall performance including style and difficulty of tricks performed during the time period. Judges will announce which features are included in the rail jam on the day of the event. HELMETS ARE REQUIRED.

AGE DIVISIONS: 

• Men's Snowboard: 15 & Younger / 16 & Older
• Men's Ski: 15 & Younger / 16 & Older
• Women's Open (Ski and Snowboard Combined)

EVENT TIMELINE:

Registration: 9:00AM - 10:00AM - Registration is required at the indoor ticket windows at the Main Chalet on the morning of the event. There is no cost to enter the competition. If under 18, the participant must have a parent present to sign a release of liability. The release of liability is not available electronically, and there will be no exceptions made for this. Registration will close promptly at 10:00AM, and no late registrations will be allowed. All participants registered must have a valid Welch Village lift ticket or season pass.

Practice (Warm Up): 9AM - 11AM

Competition Start: 11AM

• Heats & times will be determined the morning of the event.

Awards will follow promptly at the top of the Welch Village Terrain Park. 

SPECTATORS: Due to the location of the event, any spectators of the event must be on skis or snowboards, or must watch the event from the base area.
