Welch Shredders
Welch Village is an American Association of Snowboard
Instructors (AASI) licensed snowboard school.
Shredders January & February Programs
Shredders is our newest snowboard program for those aged 8-12.
This multi-week lesson program is designed for children who are currently
boarding green runs and looking to improve technique, understand their own boarding,
and pursue goals logistically and realistically. This program is designed
for youth who are looking to improve their boarding on green and blue runs , this
does not include the terrain park.
The 3 weeks program will be aimed at addressing student
motivations using a student directed teaching system. Coaches will
provide individual coaching in a low instructor to student ratio in order to
ensure a high level of personal feedback for each student in the
group.
Program Requirements: SHREDDERS IS NOT A BEGINNER
PROGRAM.
In order to register for this program students must be able to ride the chairlift without the assistance of an adult and already be able to snowboard on green runs while controlling speed & making turns. Students who do not meet these requirements will be asked to enroll in another lesson program and will be required to pay added fees in order to process a transfer or a refund. This program may be cancelled if there is low enrollment.
Shredders (ages 8-12)
- Program fee: $275* (price does not include season pass, lift tickets, or rental equipment if needed. A lift ticket or season pass is required in order to participate in all lesson programs)
- Space is limited.
- In order to register for this program, snowboarders must meet program requirements above.
- Includes coaching on 3 weekend days.
